LES GRANDES HEURES OF THE PAST

The Autodrome exudes history and Hélène Delangle, a.k.a. Hellé Nice, was one of the best drivers of her time..

On December 19th 1929 in a Bugatti Type 35 provided by Ettore Bugatti, she did one lap of the ring at 197.7km/hr and 10 laps at an average of 194km/hr to set a new world record for women’s speed racing. Bravo!
